A very nice bilingual book written in Italian and in English language, which specifically deals with a topic never addressed before, i.e. antique Italian non-figural chess sets. Antique Italian chess sets are extremely rare. So is research on these sets and their history. Massimiliano De Angelis' book fills a gap and provides some extremely valuable insights. The book is beautifully edited and of very high quality. It was published in Rome in 2018. I received my signed copy directly from the author.
