The author , founder of Chess Collectors International, together with his wife Vivian has amassed one of the greatest chess collections in the world with more than 600 hundred extraordinary sets, the best of which are shown in the book next to some pieces from museum exhibitions.

The book was first published in 2010. It comes with a short introduction by Garry Kasparov.
