Donald M. Liddell wrote this book in collaboration with Gustavus A. Pfeiffer and J. Manoury, whose collections are shown in many pictures. First published by Harcourt, Brace and Company, Inc. in 1937, this book probably marks the beginning of younger age publications on chess collecting and offers better research than many later books. A must read for every serious collector.
