A small and rather simple German chess set probably made in the Erzgebirge region in the early 20th century. 6 cm kings. All pieces turned from linden wood, unweighted. One side natural with a clear lacquer, the other side lacquered in black. Kings, queens and bishops with bell shaped bodies.
