A small, but very unusual and elegant Austrian coffee house chess set with a king size of 6.5 cm. The pieces are made of wood, one side natural, the other lacquered in black. While most coffee house sets are rather sturdy and solid in their appearance, the pieces in this set have slender conical bodies which almost qualifies them as Austrian Upright. All pieces unweighted and with green felts on the underside. The set came with a small board box measuring 25 x 25 cm.
