Small but wonderful little board made with wooden inlays on a rather heavy and massive solid wood base plate. The board was produced in 2018 in a German training workshop. The wooden surface was initially covered with an artificial satin varnish, but the solid wood asked for a high gloss finish. I removed the original varnish, sanded the surface down to grain size 3,000 and then applied several layers of french shellac polish. 

Total size is 310 x 310 mm, playing size is 235 x 235 mm. The individual squares measure 30 x 30 mm.
